Today we have been learning how to create HDR effects in Photoshop this involved gathering multiple images, each with a different exposure level (Extreme Light -> Extreme Dark) and applying layer masks to them to hide and reveal certain parts of the image so that there was a good blend of detail, shadows and highlights.

Tuesday, 7 October 2008Today we learned how to use the coolpix cameras, the functions we have learned are the button placement and how to take macro and landscape pictures etc...
Some pictures that I took using these features are shown below:
In the second part we learned how to merge multiple images together to create a different image, to do this we used layer masks and the extract filter to cut out the separate images from their background, my final image as well as the two original images are shown below:
